The four terms, decoded

Three of those four say nothing useful about durability on their own. The one term that does is HDPE, stated explicitly. Everything else in the list is a description of appearance.
Natural rattan does not go outside
This one is worth stating plainly because natural rattan furniture is beautiful and is regularly photographed on terraces in catalogs.
Rattan is a plant stem with a porous structure. Outdoors it absorbs water, swells, dries, shrinks, and loosens at every binding. Sun makes it brittle. Humidity grows mold in the pores. A natural rattan chair left on a patio for one wet season is usually finished.
It is an excellent indoor and covered-porch material — light, strong, repairable and genuinely attractive. It is simply not an outdoor one, and the catalog photographs are styling, not use.
What to actually buy

The short checklist:
- Find the polymer in the specifications. HDPE stated explicitly is what you want. If it says only "PE rattan," treat it as unknown and price accordingly.
- Find the frame metal. Aluminum stated explicitly is what you want. If it says only "metal frame," assume steel.
- Read the warranty. A one-year term tells you what the manufacturer expects; ten years on a frame tells you something quite different.
- Check the weight. Genuine HDPE-over-aluminum sets are substantial.
- Look at the finish in photographs. A high-gloss weave is more often PVC; HDPE tends to be matte.
If the budget only reaches the ambiguous tier, that is a legitimate purchase for a covered patio — just buy it knowing it is a three-to-four-year product, and see our under-$1,000 sectionals, which is written on exactly that assumption.
